KINTSUGI
KINTSUGI is a Japanese traditional technique of repairing pottery with Urushi (lacquer) and precious metals, like gold, creating elegant seams that celebrate imperfection. Rooted in the wabi-sabi philosophy, it values the beauty of transience, impermanence, and the natural cycle of growth and decay.

POTTERY
Create a shape from empty clay, add color and bake it to make it into a vessel.
There are endless possibilities and endless fun.
Use the vessel you created. It's blissful joy.
Welcome to our studio!
Studio MK&T has been reviving broken pottery using Kintsugi, a traditional Japanese technique using Urushi (lacquer).
Our studio is a small workspace, and we would like to share our knowledge of Kintsugi and pottery making.
